I am currently pursuing a degree in medicine at the University of Minnesota Duluth. I recently finished my studies at Luther College where I was a Biology major and graduated with high honors. I have tutoring experience, and I began volunteering as a peer tutor in math when I was just in high school. I then worked in the Academic Support Center at Luther College and also worked for a program called SummerVentures during my summer breaks from college. This was a program created by the public school system in Northfield, Minnesota, and there I helped children with their academics. I spent four summer breaks working for the program, and my last summer was spent working with students ages 10 through 14. In addition, throughout my undergraduate studies, I also worked as a resident assistant, student research assistant, and a lab assistant for the college. When not tutoring or studying, I enjoy reading and writing. I am very musical, and I both play the piano and sing. I also like to stay active by going for runs and practicing yoga.
